Intuitive Counseling & Corporate Muse Services

Because I have discovered such a vacuum in finding alternative counseling services in Paris, France, I have decided to "come out of retirement" and re-enter my field -- Intuitive Counseling. 

In my personal counseling sessions, I encourage clients to talk about their lives or the trouble that has brought them to the session.  It's ok if you don't know exactly why you need to talk.  The chances are, even just talking to someone who is objective and non-judgmental will help you with what's bothering you.  But I'm not just a passive listener and I have learned over the years that too many conventional therapy models are lacking in the direct interaction of the counselor.  My style is definitely that of active participant in finding solutions that work for each person.  

It's All About Well-Being 

My methods are, shall we say, unconventional.  I use no tools, unless you prefer a Tarot reading to a straight talk-therapy approach.   I have read the cards since I was 9 years old and have used them successfully as a way to interface a client's deep-seated unconscious with the realities they are confronted with at the time of the reading.  

But as I've progressed as a counselor, I've also found less and less need for the aid of "divination" props.  What you're seeking is help, not an entertaining diversion from your troubles and too often, the cards have gotten in the way of someone getting the real help I have to offer.

So, how do I know what to tell you?  You could tag what I do with so many scary, occult-sounding labels (and believe me, I've labored under most of the nastier ones in my time) but suffice it to say, I was born wise.  And I think I get a little help from That Which Loves Us along the way, too.  Freaky, huh?  Well, it works.  I don't know how it works completely, but then, I decided a long time ago that if it was helping people, why question it?

For some of you, something in my practice may not sit well and that's ok.  If we can't find a method that works for you and you come away from sessions feeling worse than before we got together, by all means, for your own well-being, look for another path to finding answers to life's bumps.  I will not be offended and I have included a list of conventional therapists on my home page for the express reason that this is all about you getting the perspective you need in a way that speaks to your individual listening.

It's All About YOU!

We will definitely be setting "ground rules" for what you want and don't want from the sessions early on and there is a questionnaire on my "Contact" page you can answer and submit before your first appointment that will give me a better idea of the goals you have in mind.  The questionnaire will also tell me a little about how I can best serve your particular needs, as no two people approach counseling, let alone alternative counseling, in exactly the same way.  You are not obliged to fill out the questionnaire but if you do, it will save time (and euros) during your first session.

Fee Schedule 

Currently, I am offering one-hour sessions for individuals of all ages and couples, both married and dating.  My fee schedule is:

Individuals:

30 EU per hour for the first session;

45 EU per hour for all subsequent sessions. 

Couples:

Where We Meet 

The setting for meetings at this time will be mutually agreed-upon public venues, i.e., a cafe, a park, along the Seine, etc., where everyone is comfortable and at ease.  I understand that meeting with a stranger calling themselves "an intuitive counselor and corporate muse" found on the internet can be a tad unnerving and so, until I am able to set-up my offices, I believe this to be our best solution.  

Evening meeting times are available.
